Social investment and Community

We contribute to improving the quality of life of the communities around us.

Sustainable Aquaculture

It is about the theoretical and practical training of the members of the Higrompampa Village Community Association in the undertaking of breeding and commercialization of native jungle fish such as pacos and carachamas, to improve their quality of life. EGH financed the entire program from the pond implementation, fingerling purchase, and supervision by a qualified technical professional. Currently, the members of the association are in charge of the breeding, maintenance, and sale. We are proud of them because in the last harvest they obtained an income of around S / .11,180.00.

Careful Attention

We serve the communities in the area of direct influence (ADI) through our Citizen Information and Attention Center (CIAC), distribution of informational material, hiring of local labor, and support for local development.

logo

Communication and dialogue

We constantly visit the communities in the direct area of influence (ADI) of the Chaglla Hydroelectric Power Plant and its transmission lines through open meetings to answer questions about the development of our activities.

Free community service

EGH has arranged a community boat and bus to transport the residents of the surrounding communities. This includes an one hour trip from the hamlets that are located in the reservoir to the Huanipampa town center. An excellent improvement, because before the construction and operation of the Chaglla Hydroelectric Plant this tour was done in one or two days.

It should also be noted that these services are totally free.

Guided Visits

We encourage, promote and manage the visits of local and regional authorities, universities and institutes, and communities from the area of direct and indirect influence to the power plant in order to strengthen cooperation ties and contribute to the training of future professionals.
