Who are we

Empresa de Generación Huallaga S.A. (EGH) manages the operation and maintenance of the Chaglla Hydroelectric Plant, the third largest hydroelectric plant in the country, with an installed capacity of 456 MW, for the generation and commercialization of electricity.

We supply up to 7% of the total energy consumed in Peru through the National Interconnected Electric System (SEIN), which makes us one of the leading Peruvian electricity generators, with a management model that makes a difference, guarantees quality, respects and protects the Environment and builds cooperation ties with the communities in our operating environment. In this way, we consolidate the bases for the sustainable development of renewable energies in the country.

We are part of China Three Gorges Corporation (CTG), a world leader in the generation of clean energy with business participation in more than 90 projects around 46 countries and regions.
